Real estate investment company started in February 2018. I’ve been doing real estate investing since autumn 2011; with this new company adding more structure to operations. In 4/2018-9/2019 we completed a major realestate development project in Kuopio, Finland in which 35 apartments were split into 70 smaller apartments.
Besides being the name of my company, Nettiniilo is the name of a customized Wifi access point device that I’ve created and of which I’ve sold at least one unit to over 70 % of all Finnish high schools (March 2015 - April 2017). The Nettiniilo device streamlines the use of Finnish Matriculation Examination Board’s Abitti exam system in school everyday use.
Opetus.tv is a website featuring over 1800 educational videos covering topics in high school math, physics, chemistry and biology in Finnish.
Opetus.tv has 60 000 - 70 000 monthly active users according to Google Analytics (2017). As there are approximately 110 000 high school students in Finland at any given time, that means roughly 55 - 64 % of Finnish high school students visit the site on a monthly basis.
Opetus.tv is free for students and teachers to use for studying / teaching. Opetus.tv is funded by it’s creators.

Description: Bittiniilo is a Chrome/Firefox browser extension for augmenting exam authoring and grading when using the Finnish Matriculation Examination Board’s Abitti® exam system. As of May 2017 pretty much all teachers in Finland who use Abitti® also use Bittiniilo.

Description:
Nettiniilo is a WLAN/Wifi access point that’s customized to be used in conjunction with the Matriculation Examination Board of Finland’s Abitti® exam system. What Nettiniilo does is provide connectivity between a local exam server and client (student) machines.
Due to network technical requirements, an existing wifi network cannot be utilized for exam network purpose without major reconfigurations and hence Nettiniilo has been successful. Nettiniilo’s market penetration is over 70 % of all Finnish high schools.

Solenovo Oy operates in the education sector providing primarily administrative techonological solutions to Finnish and international universities. I was invited to join the board based on my background in the edutech sector as well as teaching experience.
