Writing this as self-documentation, today I came across an interesting article on TheNextWeb about what the author argues to be the most relevant YouTube metrics to keep track of in terms of marketing.
To summarize, these are the five metrics the author considers most relevant:
- Videos that receive the most engagement
- Channel and video average view durations
- Subscribers-to-views ratio
- YouTube suggestion referrals
- YouTube search referrals
For more details and justification of each of the points, see the original article.
